Raaka uses USDA organic, transparent trade, un-roasted cacao, single sourced from Farm-Owned Cooperatives. Through direct purchase, they have transparent pricing with each trade transaction shown on their website. They work in small batches, are vegan, as well as free of gluten and soy. The un-roasted part comes from their fermentation process giving the beans a delicious flavor. All of their packaging is from compostable paper and their bars are wrapped in 100% post-consumer recycled paper in Red Hook Brooklyn, NY. They’re a delicious process all around from start to finish.
