Alter Eco puts an emphasis on “full circle sustainability.” They source ingredients from farmer-owned co-ops, small-scale, fair-trade farmers. They use compostable packaging while their products are organic, vegan, and non-GMO. While paying attention to the cacao they source for their chocolate, they also partner with Pur Project which plants trees in Central and South America. As a company they offset 100% of their emissions as a carbon neutral company. Alter Eco is USDA Organic, Fair Trade Certified, GF Certified, Climate Neutral and uses FSC certified paper. They founded Alter Co Foundation to continue combatting climate change and inequality through regenerative agriculture. This company is the real deal and so is their chocolate.
